Die Bezeichnung "Dauerfluss" oder "andauernde Fluktuation" (dt.) steht für den andauernden Wandel, der als Folge des ständigen Updates in Googles Ergebnisseiten zu verstehen ist. Neue Webseiten z.B. werden oft sehr schnell bei Google verzeichnet, verschwinden aber genauso schnell. Der Grund dafür ist, dass neue Seiten erst einmal nur im Rahmen des Fresh Crawl erfasst werden.
